Personal:

I used to run for BYU, but only after trying out three times and finally walking on, so I was never a star. However, it was wonderful to run with great people and under Coach Shane. When you run with fast people, you can't help to improve! I graduated BYU in 1998, and didn't run a race until 2002, after having my second child. My hiatus and other crazy life commitments have made my competitive running suffer, but the last couple of years I have tried to get back into it the best I can. I have been married since 1996, to Paul Lowry, who is a runner himself. I have three boys (my three rascals), ages 8, 6, and 4.

Met with KellieS and Ali in SF.  We had great conversation. Ali was cracking me up again.  Really she is hard on my bladder :)  We did a 6 mile loop around the riverbottoms, then we dropped Kellie off at her car and I asked Ali if she wanted to do the loop again, but she didn't think that sounded fun, but she gave me the tour of North SF and we got in 12 anyway.

Thanks for the St. G. stuff Kellie!

Ali's cutting my hair for a special Halloween haircut -- it will be way scary.

If you feel like sporting your scary doo for a Halloween run some of us are getting together for a run by Thanksgiving Point on Saturday. EVERYONE is invited. Pass along the info to anybody who might be interrested. Here is the info:

7am in Lehi by Thanksgiving Point. We will be running on the Jordan River Parkway. Thanks to Smooth, we have these great directions. Take Lehi exit 282 which takes you to State St (SR 89). On State St. go south to 1500 N (Chevron Gas Station). Drive west on 1500 N. till it dead ends to the River Parkway. If you're going north on I-15, exit 282 is also the 1200 West exit. It's the one after Main St. and before the Thanksgiving Point exit. At the Parkway access area, you can pull your car off to the left. There's a small parking area and we can meet there. Kelli said she is brining muffins and I will bring hot chocolate.

Marion - thanks for the invite. I did see the run from your blog, but I doing a longish run with a tempo inside from SF. Besides, that's way far to drive for a run.

KellieS- it was fun!
