Run St. George 2008 in 2:50 or less, gauge whether an OT time is in my future.

Personal:

I used to run for BYU, but only after trying out three times and finally walking on, so I was never a star. However, it was wonderful to run with great people and under Coach Shane. When you run with fast people, you can't help to improve! I graduated BYU in 1998, and didn't run a race until 2002, after having my second child. My hiatus and other crazy life commitments have made my competitive running suffer, but the last couple of years I have tried to get back into it the best I can. I have been married since 1996, to Paul Lowry, who is a runner himself. I have three boys (my three rascals), ages 8, 6, and 4.

Woke up in the middle of the night with pretty tight calves. They felt less tight when woke up for good. Slept in, then ran pretty little road loop. Stretched diligently after mile1 and at the end.

I'm not running WBR. I am not interested in the race itself. The only thing that would draw me is if the FRB had a female or co-ed team that was trying to win that division. We just don't have enough females to stack a team.

I think I asked you already, Michelle, but do you have a "Stick"? They work wonders! When I am healthy I usually use one before and after every big workout.

I don't have a stick Benn, but I did break out the rolling pin a couple of days ago. I will look into buying one one of these days. My first speed workout is actually tomorrow. I should roll out my legs, eh?

I like the rolling pin better. The stick has to much give.
