Personal:

I used to run for BYU, but only after trying out three times and finally walking on, so I was never a star. However, it was wonderful to run with great people and under Coach Shane. When you run with fast people, you can't help to improve! I graduated BYU in 1998, and didn't run a race until 2002, after having my second child. My hiatus and other crazy life commitments have made my competitive running suffer, but the last couple of years I have tried to get back into it the best I can. I have been married since 1996, to Paul Lowry, who is a runner himself. I have three boys (my three rascals), ages 8, 6, and 4.

I double booked running partners this morning, I guess I was just so excited that I could run in the morning that I scheduled MacK and Josse.

I ran just over 7 miles with MacK and then hopped in the car and drove to SF to run 8 with Josse. It is so nice to be able to run with friends!

ave pace 8:10 with MacK

ave pace 8:22 with Josse (its not Josse's fault the pace was slower, I started to feel junky). I felt the worst as we discussed the Wasatch Back Relay. Just thinking about that relay makes me feel sick.

Why does discussing the WBR make you feel sick? Are you thinking of doing it?

From MichelleL on Mar 13, 2008 at 08:44:17

Josse - point taken, but I don't think I'll move the post - too much effort.

Jon - It's more that I am thinking people will want me to do it, than thinking I want to do it.

Big miles today! Good job!

From Jon on Mar 13, 2008 at 09:58:00

No need to get sick about it- just say no. And I'm sure people would never bug you about it again... right guys?

From Sasha Pachev on Mar 13, 2008 at 10:34:01

Michelle - I can move it for you.

From MichelleL on Mar 13, 2008 at 10:54:24

Sasha, that would be great if its not too much trouble (its worth maybe 2 minutes but not 10 minutes). I can move the info but not the comments. Do I have to run Wasatch Back to have you move the post? :) The problem is I want to but I don't want to. Its hard to do things like that when you are a mom.

From Sasha Pachev on Mar 13, 2008 at 11:04:01

Done. If you need somebody to watch the kids for Wasatch Back, we could probably figure something out with a collective effort.
