Personal:

I used to run for BYU, but only after trying out three times and finally walking on, so I was never a star. However, it was wonderful to run with great people and under Coach Shane. When you run with fast people, you can't help to improve! I graduated BYU in 1998, and didn't run a race until 2002, after having my second child. My hiatus and other crazy life commitments have made my competitive running suffer, but the last couple of years I have tried to get back into it the best I can. I have been married since 1996, to Paul Lowry, who is a runner himself. I have three boys (my three rascals), ages 8, 6, and 4.

I locked myself out of my car, but thankfully TylerS ran by where I had parked as I finished up my run, so he ran home and got his truck and drove me home. Thanks Tyler. I think I may have left my key out there during one of my two bathroom breaks this morning. I have to go investigate. That should be fun.

While I waited for him I did a good stretch session and abs, but then I was also starving by the time I got home--so hungry! And our milk went bad even though it wasn't supposed to expire for another three days, so I can't have cereal. I guess I'll have to suffer through some eggs and toast this morning. If I were Phelps I'd eat some hashbrowns. I saw him eating hashbrowns on tv and haven't forgiven him yet :)

Great workout and good luck with those keys :( That can't be a fun thing. Pretend you are CSI. Don't forget your flash light!

Glad that you made it home okay. Also, I noticed that last week you commented on Kelli's page which I think was intended toward me (Kellie, there are too many ways to spell such a simple name), so sorry I didn't respond. The reason I didn't submit any posts from Tues-Fri is because I didn't run (I know you are probably shaking your head at me right now :)). It does make it harder to find time now that Tyler is so into running and then, it has a little (only a little though) to do with me too, he he. Anyway, thanks for posting and sorry I didn't respond sooner. Hope you have a good day and find those keys, good luck :)

Oh good, I am glad to hear that you found your key, mission accomplished. Thank you for the advice about the diet issue. It makes complete sense. I got home for the day and was so hungry that I knew I needed to eat something for dinner because otherwise, I wouldn't have had energy to run at all. However, then I was mad because I probably would have done better to not eat anything. So, I am going to have to try that and see how I feel. So, because you are so much better at this give me some ideas of what I can eat for breakfast. I usually have some yogurt and a piece of toast, or an English muffin (wheat) or some cereal. Are those things okay? You wanted to my dietician today right? Sorry to pester, but if you wouldn't mind divulging your knowledge, I would greatly appreciate it. (also posted on my page)
